Hey librarians and library students located in Indiana! For an awesome time, be sure to check out Allen County Public Library’s Library Camp on September 16, 2011. This totally free UN-Conference will have guest speakers, an opportunity for attendees to make presentations of their own, and on-the-fly breakout sessions in the afternoon. This sounds like a great way to learn more about issues important to the library field and network with other librarians. If that weren’t enough of an incentive to attend, check out the design for this year’s library camp t-shirt:
The first 75 people to register to attend the conference on the wiki page will get one of these coveted t-shirts for free (I’m so excited to get mine!), so be sure to head over to the site ASAP.
too funny…I told Tracy the same thing. I <3 the t-shirt and the conference sounds like a blast. Still thinking about it…
I am really excited about that t-shirt — it’s adorable! You should definitely consider coming, since it sounds like a good conference to go to (not to mention free). I just hope I’ll still be in Indiana by the time September rolls around.
